Although Macs are reasonably secure against malware, problems can strike. The MacDefender (AKA MacSecurity or MacProtector) malware problem has been in the news recently. The question is should Mac users now be deploying anti virus software like our Windows friends have long had to do. Rumours suggest that Apple themselves use Norton AntiVirus internally so maybe it's time for the rest of us to take similar steps.
