I've recently discovered a great author who seems to have a low profile in the UK. Joseph Finder writes novels around the themes of international and corporate espionage. Joseph's background and connections in international politics clearly allows him to write with authority in these areas. Despite being novels his books betray a degree of prescience about international affairs which is certainly intriguing. His website is worth a visit for some background info.
